What a week!! So we’ve been in a long-standing (admittedly, one-sided) battle with Clinton’s for a few years now and we finally beat them! They've got 14.4k followers and we managed to shoot up to a whooping 14.5k all thanks to a card referencing Santa’s ball sack 😂🙈
I posted our “sorry-your-December-birthday-is-overshadowed-by an-old-man- with-a-massive-sack” card and it went absolutely nuts. Turns out there's a lot of people suffering with December birthdays, we had 4m views on Tiktok, 3m views on Instagram, loads of new followers and over 1000 orders in a week 🤯🤯🤯. The majority of which came from The States so God bless America!!
We went into overdrive. Mum was singing around the kitchen; auntie went into operational ninja mode and Nani kept saying “very good” 😂😭. Sheer chaos ensued. Turns out US orders also come with around 300 extra custom forms that me and grandad were having to hand write. Nani respectfully bowed out as we all agreed her handwriting is illegible at best 😂 Only took us three days to realise we could print the bastard things!! 🙃
I run the sweatshop above grandparents’ travel business but we were so busy I relocated downstairs to utilise their (free) labour. They have a lot of older Indian customers and there is nothing quite as mortifying as attempting to make polite conversation with said customers whilst trying to hide the fact that your packing some frankly hilarious but outrageous cards featuring the words “cunt” “dick” and “ass” 🫠🙈. So, I’m there trying to hide them with scraps of paper whilst Nani is casually advising them on visa options. What a time to be alive 😂🙌
Also, I know a lot of you have been with us for a while and I wanted to say a massive thank you for all your orders, shares, messages and support in getting us here. It really does mean the world. I don’t know if you guys feel it too, but it’s like something’s starting to shift and we’re slowly becoming a legitimate contender.
